Santi Giuseppe e Giovanni Paolo II is a 21st century public chapel at Via Faustiniana 29 in the suburb of Settecamini, just north of the Via Tiburtina and east of the Grande Raccordo Anulare (Circonvallazione Orientale).

The joint dedication is to St Joseph and Pope St John Paul II.

History[]

The company of Selex Sistemi Integrati built a manufacturing plant on the Via Tiburtina, and included a chapel as part of the facilities. Negotiations with the local parish of Santa Maria dell’Olivo led to this being made public. The consecration was in 2012.

Appearance[]

The chapel has no architectural identity, and does not advertise its presence. It consists of a room with an altar and lectern, and walls curtained in blue.

Access and liturgy[]

According to the Diocese (June 2018), the chapel is open to the public from 7:30 to 19:30, Mondays to Fridays.

Mass is celebrated Saturdays at 18:00 and Sundays 11:00, so the chapel has to be open for these as well.
