Santa Maria Maddalena De' Pazzi is a modern parish church at Via Giovanni Zanardini 74, south of the Via Nomentana in a new part of the suburb of Ponte Mammolo which is in the Pietralata district.
It was completed in 1983 to a modernist design by Carlo and Anna-Maria Brevilacqua. It is part of a social centre for a new suburb, which a low-rise flat-roofed building in concrete with plastic trim. The plan is L-shaped, with a main rectangular block having a smaller annexe at right-angles. The entrance portico is inserted into the angle, accompanied by a rectangular concrete pillar bearing a thin black cross. The interior is circular, lit by a central skylight, and has stained glass windows around its circumference. These give colour to an otherwise concrete-grey space.
The patron saint was a 16th century Carmelite nun and mystic at Florence.
