San Giuseppe a Capo le Case is the surviving church of a Discalced Carmelite nunnery which was purpose-built in 1628 and suppressed after 1871. It was deconsecrated for a time in the late 19th century, and the fittings dispersed. Hence the interior is modern.
The external link shows an engraving of the church by Vasi, as well as a modern photo.
At present, the church is subsidiary to the parish church of Sant'Andrea delle Fratte.
