St Stanislaus Kostka's urn in Sant'Andrea al Quirinale

Pierre Legros (born 1666, died 1719) was a French sculptor.

He was born in Paris, son of a sculptor of the same name who had worked on decorating the Versailles. In 1690, Legros went to Rome, and five years later he was commissioned by Andrea Pozzo to create sculptures for the tomb of St Ignatius of Loyola in Gesù. He continued to decorate churches, many of them belonging to the Society of Jesus. In 1704 he married Marie Charlotte, daughter of René-Antoine Houasse, director of French Academy in Rome. Through this marriage he was brother-in-law of Nicolas Coustou. He was buried at San Luigi dei Francesi.
