Cappella del Pontificio Collegio Messicano is the mid 20th century private chapel of the Mexican College, located at Via del Casaletto 314 in the Gianicolense suburban area.
History[]
The Pontifical Mexican College is a recent foundation. The proposal was first mooted by the Episcopal Conference of Mexico in 1960, as a seminary to which all Mexican dioceses could send priestly candidates for training. Work actually began in 1964, and was completed in 1967.
The architect was Silvio Galizia.
Appearance[]
The complex is hidden from view behind trees, on the west side of the street.
The college website has photos of the buildings, but not of the chapel.
